The fool thinks he will be heard for his much speaking, but the little that is contained in his many words will find no ear and no root. Where is the life of the word that is not true? Where is the one that gives ear? When the life is not present within the word as it goes forth then the one that has spoken does not believe nor have they given of their life to be in that which they uttered. The one that hears gives ear to a lie disguised as the truth. Is he not made weak by the word that he trusted in for nothing and is he not made dark in his understanding through the cleverness of deceit?

Where is the life of the word that is not true? There is no life in it, but death/carnality only

Where is the one that gives ear? He is in captivity and desires a lie and darkness

When the life is not present within the word as it goes forth then the one that has spoken does not believe nor have they given of their life to be in that which they uttered. - This is true because the life is in the word by the nature of design and if one receives not the life of the word then they have denied the nature and it cannot manifest nor reproduce for the seed is dead being alone

The one that hears gives ear to a lie disguised as the truth. - The word heard is not the word spoken nor is it understood to be that which it really is, which in truth is a lie as you have said.

Is he not made weak by the word that he trusted in for nothing and is he not made dark in his understanding through the cleverness of deceit? YES - Emphatically - just as deferred hope makes the heart sick, the mind that is given to deception will be taken captive for the one taken in and that believes the lie becomes one with the lie and both are darkened
