Is it okay to challenge why the traditional Church System of today is lacking the power of the Holy Spirit, the true revelation of the Word, and an abiding presence of God? Is it just me or are we getting more does and dont's and how to's and how not to's than actual manifestation. I have a desire to know Him and the presence of His Glory and to see His manifestations appear in the Church today the way the Scripture declares that it should. Not the way it will one day in the sweet bye and bye, but as Jesus said "he that believes in me, the Works that I do shall you do also"! I am perplexed as to so many ministers world-wide that say they believe, but they do not do the works that Jesus did. Do you have any comments on this? Thanks in advance! Dr.N

I think so, I mean aren't we supposed to utilize discernment by the Spirit to see if what is being taught is of God or not? The mainstream church today does not manifest the works of Christ. If someone does happen to hear from God, they are usually considered a threat to their pastor or they put them up in front and work that fire until all of the anointing from the word they received is used up and the person is burned out. Why are so many so-called pastors burnt-out and leaving the ministry? They either never possessed the pastoral gift in the first place or they have allowed the system to corrupt their vision and hearing. I think they need to be restored to their first love...What do you think?

It seems as though the ministers of today are overly interested in being doctrinally correct without taking notice that the Spirit of God is not confirming their words with signs following. I believe that most believers in the church system are sincere and desire to do thew things that God wants them to do in their life, if they only knew what that was. The "SYSTEM", IMHO is what is diseased. Unfortunately many well meaning ministers and lay persons are being affected by the system that is, IMHO, not being led or empowered by the Holy Spirit. Since the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, because it is foolishness to him, and neither can he know the things of God because they are spiritually discerned, it becomes apparent that a "system of beliefs" driven church and ministry cannot please God. It is not the "actions" of man trying to do the things of God that is pleasing to God, but rather it is the yieldedness of man to the actions of the indwelling Spirit of God that is pleasing. The Church is busy trying to do the works of God instead of letting God do His works in them and then through them. JMHO Dr.N
