Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.
Guess it isn't just a place in Heaven or a cabin in the corner of Glory. Eternal life is to know the Father and the one He has sent. It is a relationship with the Father and it is a recognization of who He sent. Did you realize that we are also those that He sent? Jesus said, "...as Thou didst send me to the world, I also did send them to the world...." God sent Christ, the Anointed One, as the Messiah in Jesus and He has sent Christ in us to establish His Kingdom. We do not have the Messiah anointing, because He has already accomplished the work of Messiah. He has sent us with the same quality and quantity of "sentness" or authority to manifest the works and the Kingdom of the Messiah! WE need to recognize who we are and that we have been sent, not to just go out soul-winning, or pass out tracts, or door-knock for Jesus; that is the Holy Spirit's obligation. We are to listen for His instruction and then yield/submit to that Word. He instructs and guides and only his manifestation will produce. We cannot try to force things to happen because of the traditions or programs of men. We must be led by the Spirit of God. That is true relationship and Eternal Life! AS HE IS, SO ARE WE! What have you been sent to do?
