Do not take thought or concern over those things which are spread by the wicked on the tops of the mountains and over the waves of the air, for I have not given you an ear to hear their voice nor to tremble at their command.
For you know that I have well caused you to be raised up in My Spirit and I will carry you forward with My Word into the day that is and all of the days that will be.
Take heart you that feel faint and know that I Am He that was, is and always will be and I Am He that is within you. I AM the Victory that you seek and the Reward that you have ran to receive.
Trust in the counsel that I have set for you and be settled over the directions for your feet and know that they are sure. I will never lead you in a manner by which you may stumble nor carry you forward by My Word or Spirit in a way that you may fall, for I keep you from the tempter and lead you in a path that is straight tried and true.
Cease to lean to your own understanding as you have done unto this day and give yourself to the counsel of My Spirit and the leading of My Word and you will find the Victory that I have made you to be.
Others seek for you and cannot find; they look for the light of the way, but you have not been fully seen. They seek that which they don't know and how can they find it? They listen for that which they have never heard and how will they hear it?
It is the Way that I have set that will heal their longing and bring in the fruit of My labor to its fruition in them. They are mine and I will not give them up to another, but I would have for them to change their mind and be healed and not be turned to another way. I have no pleasure in their plunder nor joy in their mourning all the day long. Lift up the STANDARD that I have caused you to be and give no thought to yourself on what you might think and what you might say, For I Am He that speaks from the Truth and reveals from the everlasting that which has been from before the beginning.
Clothe yourself in My Provision and you will lack nothing, for I have made you to be full and a replenisher of the supply for those that have lack.

Trust and know that My Way, My Word and My Spirit are one and will accomplish in the Way the Life that I have ordained and the style of My Coming in all things says the Lord!

You are definitely in a good place bermudaboy. You know Mary asked the same question after the angel had brought her the word of the Lord. She asked herself, "How can these things be?" and then she pondered them in her heart. So, my best response would be go and do the same! ponder what has been said in your heart and allow the Spirit within you to confirm what He has said.
He most definitely still speaks today to each and every one. The real question is, will we choose to hear Him who speaks from the Heavenlies? He has been speaking to his creation since before the world was and even Jesus told the enemy in the garden, that "Man shall not live by breath alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." It doesn't say written word or scripture, but by every word He is speaking. If he has quit speaking, then we have quit living. There are plenty out there today who have never experienced Life in abundance, because they have refused to hear Him who speaks or have been deceived to believe He no longer needs to speak to His creation or His Children. (Paraphrase)How shall they hear, unless there be a preacher and how can he preach unless he be sent. I submit to you that one must hear HIM and I do mean hear HIM to go and take this message or they are not sent and the words they speak are not His and there is no life in them. But those who hear Him, they know his voice (My sheep know MY Voice), notice He didn't say have read what I said, or they felt impressed to do so, or they felt called, No he said, They KNOW MY VOICE. They have heard Him who speaks and they are qualified by that alone. When he gives the message, they hear it and when He says speak, they speak and those who know His voice will hear and the Spirit of God within them will confirm that He spoke, not the vessel. The one who hears should then allow that word to enter deep into their hearing and allow the seed/Word to be planted deep in their heart and ponder it and make it a focal point. Hope this helps! I'm sure others will respond and more questions may arise, just allow the Spirit within you to confirm what He has said and remember that the natural understanding is always unfruitful when it comes to the things of God.

Well Said Basilikos. If God doesn't speak to his children today then how can we learn?. How can we grow in the grace and knowledge of him? If it's only through scripture than how do we receive revelation of those scriptures? How do we receive wisdom and understanding? Do these things only come from the intepretation of a few men that could only hear the voice of God. Or from the word of God that is available to everyone. I say without question the latter. I say the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, that taught him only to say and do what the Father says and does also resides in me. That spirit that taught him, teaches me. That spirit that empowered him, empowers me. That spirit that spoke to him speaks to me today.

One of the main reasons God sent His Spirit to us was so that we could understand the things written and spoken. Here is a Scripture verse for those that care:

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

It is clear as steelj remarks that God has not left us at the mercy of any man's teaching or interpretation:

1 John 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.


Here I will back up and take the early verses of 1 Corinthians 2 that I believe put an exclamation mark on steelj and Basilikos' thoughts:

We need the Spirit to guide us and only those that have been given to us by the Spirit to build us up and equip us. We are not to give ourselves to nor yield to the man that of his own initiative or by the will of another man, mom, dad, or democratic procedure feels like they need to guide us. We all will give account on how WE HAVE HEARD AND YIELDED TO THE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT before God. I will never have to give account by explaining how the "pastor" taught me or how the "Church Sunday School Teacher" explained it or how my mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, aunt Bessie or uncle Ben learned it, believed it or taught it; but I will give account on how I listened and yielded to the voice of the Holy Spirit, who is the true teacher of God for all that believe.

seduce is a very ugly word one would have to be very wicked to do this almost puts one in mind of the anti-christ

You are correct. It does bring you in mind of what the spirit of anti-christ does.

The anti-christ spirit presents an alternative truth to try and lead us away from what Christ has decreed.

Many are unaware that "Anti" really is best interpreted as that which comes alongside the true to imitate or replace it.
