THE WORK OF THE SPIRIT JOHN 1:12
When you come to the Lord, all who receive Jesus, to them ,He gave the power (to do something) to become Sons even to those that
just believe on His Name. He gave them the power to become sons.
He did not say you became a son as soon as he believed on the work
that Jesus did. We need to see the process so we can see what the Spirit is doing. The process says that when you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and call upon His Name He SAVES you. Which means this: he forgave you your sin, past, present and future , and He no longer imputes them to you. What does He do? He gives you righteousness. You possess righteousness when you come into salvation. Guess what!
It gets better, because all of them who, receive Him, they receive power
to become SONS. It is one thing to possess righteousness. It is another thing to become righteousness. There is a difference. It's one thing to be the seed of Adam and to be granted a position in God by adoption. It's another thing to be born of his seed. A lot of people throw it all in the barrel together but actually the scripture lines it out in a whole different way and that is,that when you come, it's like when the Spirit came to Mary and gave her the Word. That word!had been alive
prophetically in Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. They talk about
Messiah coming for a couple of 1,000 years. They talk about Messiah coming. Well guess what. The Angel showed up to Mary. "Hey Mary, guess what. You da one!" What would you do if your best friend jumped up and said God told me I'm the one? I'm going to miraculously conceive and bring forth the Christ. Mary was the one.

All those years she was the one. What made it different? They had read the prophecies. They knew the prophecies. They quoted the Word over and over, expecting Messiah to come. They lived their life expecting Messiah to come and conquer their enemies and set up the Kingdom. They believed it, quoted it, said it and said it and said it. !l It never changed them. They did not recognize Him when He came. But there was one that did. Do you know why? SHE HEARD THE LIVING WORD OF GOD!
Scripture is not the Living Word of God. The Bible is uttered words that have been passed down to us. Thank God for this. The Bible is the Word of God, but it is not the Living Word of God.
The Living Word of God is the one who said those things recorded in
the Bible, that you can read and it is awesome. Guess what. You need to hear Him who uttered the things recorded in the Bible because that is what makes these things recorded alive. They had all read the

scriptures, but Mary heard the Living Word and when she heard the

Living Word of God, ;D ;D what did the Living Word of God say? You are
going to conceive. The Holy Ghost of God is going to overshadow you. You are going to be impregnated by the Living Word of God and the one that you are going; to conceive is going to be the Holy Christ
Child and guess what happened to her? She responded to the Living
Word of God. What about all the millions that had come before her
that had read the scriptures? It never changed them because they did not hear the the LIVING WORD OF GOD. YOU SEE the spiritual changes- changes the natural physical.
