You as lively stones are built up a spiritual house a holy priesthood [ WHY?] to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by CHRIST
What would be a Spiritual sacrifices to offer up to God? Jesus took the Kingdom away from the Jew's for not being Lively Stones.

One spiritual Sacrifice is yourself>
Of all that you are:
To Forgive those that offend instead of condemn
Rend your heart and not your garments God Clothed you with
Give Thanksgiving in all things instead of complaint
Give Praise to God instead of moaning and groaning
Give True Spirit Worship instead of false lip service
Give the Word of Healing instead of excuses for sickness
Give deliverance to the captive instead of compromise with the enemy
Give the Spirit of wisdom instead of doctrinal statements
Give the Word of the Lord instead of Scripture verses
etc...
The truest spiritual sacrifice we can ever offer is ourself on the altar of the Spirit. To yield, let and permit the Spirit of God/ Christ in us to have His way in everything we can ever hope, think or do so all can be done to the Glory of our Father.
From the examples of Isaac and Jesus Christ, the characteristics of a person who is a living sacrifice is obedience to God, willingness to yield everything, dependence upon God to provide, a newness of life. God wants each of us to be living sacrifices where we yield our body, mind and will to Him. In that process of yielding you and I will be transformed.
Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Wow! Today I asked the Lord for a clearer understanding of a "spiritual sacrifice". Thanks so much for the insight!
He also showed me that it is of extreme benefit for all who embrace and obey completely the Word of the Head of the Corner. There is no other way to build the house than by obedience to His Word.
