You know the enemy tries to steal our joy. Because the joy of God according to Romans is a manifestation of the Kingdom of God in your life. Righteousness, peace and joy is the Kingdom of God inside of you.
I’m going to tell you that the joy of the Lord causes His praises to be in your lips. Not just in your lips, but in your heart. A lot of people sing out of the head knowledge and not out of the experienced joy of the Lord!
Well, the righteous in the Lord are joyous, not because they are told to be but because they are! Its part of their nature, their character, their habitation that they dwell in is joy! It causes an excitement and a refreshing to spring up. Joy doesn’t depend on your habitation. It doesn’t depend on what you are going through. It’s not dependent on how well things are doing. It doesn’t depend on whether you are happy or not. Joy comes from deep inside you. Deep inside the Spirit man and just like you are capable of drawing on your peace, you can draw on the joy of the Lord. Let that joy be dominate in your life. It will strengthen you. It will lift you above the heads of your enemies. It will cause you to sing in the midst of turmoil and tribulation. It confuses the enemy. The enemy says, “What is he singing about? What is she praising Him about? All hell is breaking loose and their singing praises. What’s going on?”
They have begun to realize that what the enemy has intended for bad, actually releases the Kingdom of God inside of you, because you remember that blessed is the man that God doesn’t impute sin to because he is no longer under the law of sin and death but under the law of Life and Liberty in Christ Jesus. Because we are spirit, born of Spirit and what is born of spirit is spirit, translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son.
This Kingdom becomes a mighty defense for you and the enemy is broken. So the Righteous (us), those who are in relationship with the Lord knows what Joy really is and they begin to celebrate.
Sing for Joy all you Righteous ones! Enthrone the King of Glory by building a habitation of praise. Glory!!! REJOICE!!!
