A large part of the Christian Church throughout the world has backed itself in a corner by rejecting the existence of the "equipping gift ministries" of the APOSTLE and the PROPHET. It is unbelievable that leaders can so easily overturn the Scriptures by their tradition, by proclaiming that the "revelatory ministry gifts" have passed away and were only for the confirmation of the Gospel in the early 1st century.
By what authority do they do this? Its not God's, thats for sure. When we realize what the impact of these revelatory ministry gifts would have on the Christian Church of today it only stands to reason that the one that would make a stand to disallow these gifts from functioning is the Devil; Satan; antichrist spirit.
The TRUTH that the Church is built upon these foundations and only the Apostolic and Prophetic ministry had the authority and equipping from God to establish local church bodies, has been buried under tons of doctrinal religious bs.
Why do we have so much division in Christianity?
One of two things:
1. rejection of the Apostle and Prophet from ministering
2. False apostles and prophets proclaiming to be something they are not and yet being permitted to minister
Reliance on the Holy Spirit to distinguish between the apostle/prophet and the false apostle/prophet is a must. Some of the easiest determining factors are character, divine nature, true wisdom and understanding, in possession of the knowledge of the truth, ministry that elevates Christ and diminishes self. The only name to be glorified in the life of an apostle or prophet is Christ's. One does not need the title of apostle or prophet in order to function according to the gift that God has made them to be; Therefore beware of ANYONE that PROMOTES THEIR TITLE and THEIR NAME as a badge of honor expecting you to submit, because of such are the false apostles and prophets. The enemy would never have sent counterfeits unless the real ones were ready to come onto the scene.
It is evident that God gave gift ministries for the perfecting/maturing of the individuals in the Church; so they (the individuals in the Church) would be equipped for the work of the ministry and able to buildup the Church/Body of Christ. We have some "spiritual rocket scientist" that have come along over the years and have taught that we don't need some of these most important gift ministries anymore. Why? Do they actually believe that the Christian Church divided into thousands of denominational groupings has arrived at:
1. "the UNITY OF THE FAITH"?
Additionally they would have to believe that we have arrived at:
2. "the knowledge of the Son of God" (Same smarts as Jesus)?
To go along with those two they would have to believe that we have arrived at being
3. "a perfect man" (without spot or blemish spirit, soul and body)
The crowning belief they would have added to the first 3 I mentioned would be that they actually believed that we have grown to
4. "the measure and stature of the FULLNESS OF CHRIST"
And they think I am out of my mind!
What possible purpose could they have had for wanting these apostolic and prophetic gifts to STOP FUNCTIONING?
Because these gifts would expose them for the frauds that they are and that would take away all of the influence that they have had over the minds of the people and they would have been stripped of all authority and power in the Church.
Simply, the same reason that Jesus exposed natural Israel of in Matthew 21:33-46 (parable of the husbandman and His Son). When they saw the Son, they said this is the HEIR, let us kill him and put him out (Like Christianity has done to the true apostle and prophet) and let us seize upon the inheritance. The people were the inheritance! Jesus addresses this in the Gospels as well >
Mat 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Mat 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
Mat 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
Mat 23:6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
Mat 23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
Mat 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
Mat 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Mat 23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
Mat 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Mat 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Mat 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
I call it "titular authority" > authority given to one by title only
Titular Authority is conveyed either by oneself; mankind; or the devil. Beware of flattering titles, but forbid not the proper operation of the gifts, for they are for the perfecting of the saints and the establishing of the Church of the Lord Jesus in all foundational truths and demonstration of the Kingdom of God and power.

Ephesians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Ephesians 2:19-20 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Ephesians 3:3-6 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
