THE PROMISE

One of the things that was really missed, was when the scriptures talk about the Promise of the Father- it was never talking about Jesus! The promise of the father always spoke about CHRIST! :)WAS JESUS THE CHRIST?? YES-ABSOLUTELY!! HE WAS THE CHRIST BECAUSE HE WAS ANNOINTED TO BE THE MESSIAH! AND CHRIST WAS “ON” HIM TO FULFILL THAT ROLE- AND WHEN HE FULFILLED THAT ROLE, FATHER INTO YOUR HANDS, I COMMEND MY SPIRIT- THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN 50 DAYS LATER- ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST HERE COMES HOLY GHOST AGAIN- AND HE COMES AS CHRIST AGAIN LOOKING FOR A BODY –AGAIN TO ANNOINT AGAIN- AND THAT IS WHAT HE HAS CAME TO DO!! WE DON’T REALIZE A LOT OF TIMES, IS WHEN THE SCRIPTURE IS SPEAKING ABOUT THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER- JESUS HIMSELF SAID – I GOT TO GET OUT OF HERE! IF I DON’T GO THE PROMISE CAN’T COME! BUT IF I GO HE WILL COME! I AM NOT DEMINISHING JESUS AT ALL- BUT AT THE SAME TIME – I KNOW WHAT HE DIED TO GIVE US! AND I KNOW WHY HE ACCEPTED THE ROLE OF THE MESSIAH- WAS SO THAT WE COULD COME INTO AND BECOME EVERYTHING THAT HE SAID WE COULD BE- THAT THE ONE THAT WAS ACTUALLY THE SEED-WHO CONTAINED THE REST OF US –HAD TO FALL INTO THE GROUND AND DIE- BUT NOW HERE WE ARE!! SO WE NEED TO GET A GRIP ON THAT AND REALIZE THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER WAS THE CHRIST, THE SPIRIT- AND NOW HERE WE ARE AND HERE HE IS – SO WE NEED TO GET ABOUT THE FATHERS BUSINESS!! ;D

Very True!

Not a lot of response to this one, but it is correct.

The word "christo" is the anointed one of God. Jesus was the Messiah empowered by CHRIST to fulfill that ministry which He did to perfection.

But now, the CHRIST is come AGAIN in ANOTHER BODY "the Church" to fulfill His ministry through us.

Will we receive it? Will we let Him do it? Can we receive the glory that God has given us? If we do it is to His Glory and He will do it all, but if we don't we call God a liar, because what He said He would do we are saying He not only won't do it, but that He can't do it.

Jesus told them to wait for the Propmise of the Father. He didn't say, wait for Me or I was the Promise, but He said WAIT FOR you will be endued with POWER FROM ON HIGH (Holy Ghost/Christ/Anointing)
Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.


Jesus gave command concerning the Father's Promise and explains that it is the sending of the Holy Ghost (Holy Ghost/Christ/Anointing)

Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
Act 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

On the DAY of PENTECOST the promise is revealed to be the (Holy Ghost/Christ/Anointing) AGAIN

Act 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

There are more Scriptures that could be shared, but it is evident that God was aying that the Christ/Spirit/Anointing was the promise so we could be Born Again as His children and fulfill His will on earth evenas it is in heaven,. That's what Jesus did.
